Sacred Smoke & Spirit - Why I Use Copal, Palo Santo & Sage in My Spiritual Healing Sessions

In every spiritual healing session, whether it’s a Reiki healing, ThetaHealing, a Mediumship reading, Akashic Records reading, or an intuitive tarot reading, I work with tools that hold spiritual lineage and deep energetic resonance. Among my personal favorites and in my option the most powerful are Copal incense. I love Palo Santo sticks, and smudge bundles  just as much, but they all hold their own unique energy.

These sacred tools have been used for centuries by Indigenous cultures across the Americas for energy clearing, spiritual protection, and connection to higher realms. I burn White Sage when I am about to call in Spirit and I burn Copal incense sticks after every healing session . Its clean, resin-rich smoke helps to open the crown chakra, cleanse the aura, and create a direct pathway to divine guidance while protecting the energy. I love to use Copal when I want to cleanse my healing space, align with my higher self, or invite clarity into my spiritual practice. I am also a certified herbalist and from an herbalism perspective, Copal, Palo Santo  and White Sage are known for their antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, adding to its power as a holistic healing ally.
